Following its successful giant escape game, which brought together more than 250 participants in April 2017, the global engineering group SEGULA Technologies is now offering its future engineering talent a brand-new experience based on the e-Sport phenomenon. The group recruits several thousand new engineers from around the world each year and is now launching a major competition on League of Legends®, the global benchmark for online games (with more than 100 million active players throughout the world), in partnership with Webedia. With more than 7.5 million fans in France and major events in the country’s largest cities (ESWC Winter/Summer, Barrière eSport Tour, etc.), e-Sport promotes the values of personal excellence, teamwork and sharing, all of which are in line with the group’s ambitions. Commentary on the tournament is provided by League Of Legends® experts, and €2,000 of cash prizes are at stake! The competition starts online on 14 November and will pit students from all parts of France against each other.
Schedule :
- 14/15 November and 21/22 November: qualification phases. 4 evenings from 8 pm to 10.30 pm
- 28/29 November: quarter finals. 2 evenings from 8 pm to 10.30 pm
- Saturday 9 December: semi-finals and final in Webedia Group’s Gaming Arena (92)
Tournament commentaries will be provided by two recognised League of Legends® experts, Tweekz and Gardoum.
