My philosophy
My philosophy is linked to working hard to achieve the company’s goals and improving myself to always be able to attend what is expected from me. Regarding these two concepts, one thing that always stays in my mind is “humility”, because I believe that we should take advantage of every opportunity to practice empathy.
My role at SEGULA Technologies
Currently, I work as a Product Analyst, so I’m responsible for proposing economic ideas to our Renault client in Brazil and making sure that the project is approved by the managers and applied on the production line in compliance with all the rules.
A few months ago, I had the opportunity to work with a sales team to prospect for new customers. So, from that moment on, I’m always involved in new commercial quotes.
Professional experience
I worked as a trainee in two factories, first at Faurecia and then at Renault in Brazil. On both, I had the chance to put into practice a lot of the knowledge I had gain from the university.
At Faurecia, my work was linked to lean manufacturing and I was part of a team responsible for ensuring the competitiveness of the plant by reducing all kinds of losses that are usually found in any type of industry.
At Renault Brazil, I worked in an engine factory. It was an incredible experience, which allowed me to see clearly how industries work.
Training
I graduated as a Mechanical Engineer, and after that I didn’t stop studying, I did some courses which are listed below.
- CAE Essentials (Computer Aided Engineering) – ESSS
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) – Udemy
- Quality Planning Tools: APQP and PPAP – FM2S
- SCRUM Specialist – FM2S
- Analysis of Failure Modes and Their Effects (FMEA) – FM2S
- WCM – Wold Class Manufacturing – FM2S
- VSM – Value Stream Mapping – FM2S
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt – FM2S
Also, I’m studying English at British and American School.
My best project
My best project was when I helped SEGULA to get a new customer, Michelin. When I worked on it, I had to learn some new concepts of commercial negotiation and the most important was about the “sales funnel”, where a big quantity of leads were selected on LinkedIn, based on their position. It was really interesting and I am proud – with all modesty – to have contribute that Michelin joining our client portfolio. We have great projects now and for the future with this client.
My biggest dream
Build a solid career to have the opportunity to take care of people in general.
The best thing at SEGULA
Opportunities to be part of many projects at the same time. This increase our skills and knowledge.
