To support major industrial players as closely as possible in the development of sustainable and efficient mobility solutions, engineering group SEGULA Technologies is consolidating its presence in Mexico’s main industrial regions with the inauguration this week of new offices in Puebla and Queretaro.
Mainly dedicated to automotive activities (development of product and process engineering solutions, tooling design, computer-aided engineering, etc.), the Puebla office will officially open its doors on 18 October 2024. Located in one of the region’s most modern and dynamic business parks, at the heart of the automotive industry ecosystem, the office benefits from a strategic location close to the Group’s customers. Ideally located in the heart of the city’s business district and close to major transport hubs, the Puebla engineering office offers a large operational area, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
In Queretaro, SEGULA Technologies will support customers in the aerospace industry by providing high-level engineering services in the design and manufacturing of production tools, as well as solutions for the automation, inspection, and assembly of aircraft parts.
In addition, the engineers will work on projects in mobility sectors (automotive, heavy vehicles and railway), developing, for instance, solutions for integrating batteries or high-voltage systems for electric motors.
Fernando Gonzalez, Director of SEGULA Technologies Mexico, comments: « Our new offices in Queretaro and Puebla mark an important step in our growth strategy in Mexico. These cities offer us access to a pool of highly qualified talents and a favourable business environment, enabling us to better support our customers in the automotive, aerospace, rail and energy sectors, where we intend to demonstrate SEGULA’s expertise to our local customers. »
Creating employment and training opportunities for engineering talent
SEGULA Technologies has been operating in Mexico since 2013 and currently has over 700 employees mainly in Mexico City Metropolitan area and Nuevo Leon, Puebla and Queretaro States. The opening of these new offices will facilitate the recruitment of more than 200 engineers in the regions of Querétaro and Puebla.
The Group also intends to use the new offices as training hubs to enhance the skills of its local teams.
Adrien Guillemin, Director of SEGULA Technologies Americas, comments: « With the opening of these two sites, SEGULA is consolidating its position as a global engineering office for our aerospace and automotive clients. We are proud to be part of the dynamic technology and innovation ecosystems of Puebla and Queretaro. I am very confident about the rapid development of our activities in the country. »
