Pursuing its international growth, the engineering group SEGULA Technologies is launching its operations in Poland with the opening of an office in Tychy.
This operation meets the need for support for the automotive, rail and oil and gas industries that have been deploying their activities in Poland in a favourable local context.
Paris, 8 April 2021 – SEGULA Technologies, a global engineering group, has recently opened an office in Poland to support its customers in the automotive, rail and oil and gas sectors. This new office is located in Tychy, in the industrial region of Silesia.
In the automotive sector, SEGULA Technologies has developed a complete range of services, from design to industrialisation, and is recognised for its ability to manage entire turnkey projects, whether for vehicles or production lines. Its customers will benefit from its expertise in facing major current challenges, such as e-mobility and digital transformation.
In the railway sector, Tychy’s engineering office will support its customers in the development of rolling stock, with the creation of a mechanical and electrical engineering centre specialising in simulation and test support.
Finally, in the oil and gas sector, SEGULA Technologies will bring its experience in process engineering and in field services (supervision of installations, infrastructure commissioning, etc.).
Poland has a dynamic economy, a fast-growing engineering market and top-quality engineering schools – assets that are favourable to SEGULA’s establishment in the country.
Vincent Chip, Director of SEGULA Poland, states: “Our ambition is to become the partner of reference for our customers and a major player in engineering in Poland. We have many assets that will help us achieve this, including our in-depth knowledge of European and global industrial standards, our international experience and our recognised expertise in industrialisation.”
Numerous high-level engineers, automation specialists, roboticians, software developers, electronic engineers and mechanical, electrical and simulation engineers will join the Polish team. SEGULA plans to recruit several dozen engineers in the first year and to set up operations in other cities at a later stage.
This move is part of the Group’s overall growth strategy. Already present in more than 30 countries, SEGULA Technologies aims to pursue its development at the international level.
